Built From
Aviation Experience

C Major Holdings was founded by longtime transportation executives who developed one of America's largest commuter airlines. Today, no longer in the airline industry, they are focused on building C Major Holdings as an independent rental car platform serving regional, rural, and underserved aviation markets.

From Regional Aviation to Ground Transportation

Our leadership team has a proven track record of building and operating successful transportation businesses in the markets C Major is designed to serve.

Southern Airways Express

2013 – 2023

Founded in 2013 with 3 aircraft and 4 pilots. Grew to become the largest commuter airline in the United States by daily departures and fleet size, operating in every U.S. time zone including Hawai‘i.

Surf Air Mobility

Surf Air Mobility

2023 – 2025

Southern merged with Surf Air Mobility (NYSE: SRFM). The Southern Airways executive team remained with the combined organization during a transition period, contributing to integration, strategy, and operational alignment.

C Major Holdings

2026 – Current

Southern's founders concluded their roles with Surf Air Mobility and subsequently launched C Major Holdings—an evolution of the initial Southern Airways rental car concept, but established as a fully independent company.

Why C Major Exists

Traditional rental car companies generally build their airport operations around significant passenger volume. That leaves many regional airports, general aviation airports, FBOs, and smaller airline stations without a rental car model that fits their market.

C Major approaches the opportunity differently.

Our objective is to make smaller aviation markets more connected and more useful.

Airports & Communities

Right-sized rental car solutions that support connectivity and local economic growth.

Airlines

Enhancing the traveler experience and driving more value for your passengers.

FBOs & General Aviation

Supporting pilot, passenger, and crew transportation with reliable on-site options.

Partnership Focused

Collaborative relationships that deliver dependable ground transportation where it is needed most.
